Completed by architect H2O in Paris, France, Arsenal Flat is an interesting project featuring smart design solutions. The family apartment is located on the top floor of a Haussmannian building, which was the height of the servants. According to the architect, Paris apartments are based on three connected and sequential guest rooms. Each of these interiors is characterized by its orientation: east, west or south.
The social space lives open, apart from the shelves formed to follow the sloping roof. Some storage spaces are located throughout the apartment. The middle dimension of the social area visually rises from the diagonal line of the room. The use of white in wood or plaster also contributes to the feeling of space. Oak furniture and wood floors provide warmth, while the shelves provide comfort. The kitchen, which features all white appliances, is fully integrated into Paris’ open plan design.
